My name is Emily Bozdeck and if you've ever heard your child talk about a teacher who comes in their classroom several times a day, that's probably me! In the mornings I push-in to several classrooms working to guide your child's reading. Some weeks they will meet and read with me, and others they will meet with Ms. Frederich. My purpose is solely to allow your son or daughter the opportunity to meet in a small group to further their reading skills. I am also in the classroom in small time chunks in the afternoon to assist Ms. Frederich during math and writing time. A few fun facts about me:
1. I received my Master's Degree from Truman State University in May 2014.
2. I graduated from Lindbergh High School in 2009, and am still a proud district resident.
3. My favorite food is sushi, while my favorite thing to drink is coffee!
4. I love to play and watch sports. I played soccer in college for Truman State's women's team. I also help coach JV basketball at Lindbergh High School. I LOVE Cardinals baseball. But no matter how hard I try, I can't bring myself to like football...ha!
I'm so excited to get to know your child throughout the year, and hopefully will be given the opportunity to meet each of you as the year rolls on!
