1st Days of School!

Hello 2nd Grade Families!

We had two EXCELLENT days of school! Your kids are AWESOME! I'm so thrilled to be spending the year with such an amazing bunch. 

Over the last couple of days, we have spent a lot of time getting back into the groove of school. Our class is full of leaders and they have done a great job adjusting to new procedures and rules. 

Today, we met our 5th Grade buddies! Our buddy class is Mrs. Schaefer's 5th Grade class. Today they shared their favorite books with us! 



Here are a few things to know for the weekend:

1. Monday is a P.E. day again. Please wear tennis shoes or send a pair to school to change. 

2. PURPLE FOLDERS came home today. There are two pockets inside the folders: KEEP & RETURN. The keep pocket is items that stay at home. This should be emptied daily. The return pocket is the place to put any notes that need to go back to school. I check these folders daily and will collect the contents each morning. Things that can/should go in there include: lunch money, permission slips, dismissal notes, homework, sign-up forms, notes for me, and/or notes for the office. 

Normally, these folders will have a label with your child's name on it. However, my printer and I had a disagreement this afternoon and it refused to print the labels for me ;) The labels will show up some time next week and be stuck on the front.
